               Man being lynched

For many people they might feel offended or angry when a thug steals something from them and even be forced to take action themselves without informing law enforcement authorities, indeed in many third world countries the rate of mob justice is so high compared to the developed nations and many atribute this practice to poor policing and the high crime rate in this third world nations like kenya.

                Stoning a man

A question frequently asked is this justice? How can people burn, stone or hack a fellow human being? Is this not brutality? Many people i asked concerning mob justice said they have no choice but to take the law in their own hands as they feel frustrated by the slow action of policemen and the poor legal system which in many cases releases the criminals to the society thus they continue with their bad deeds.

               Mob killing a man

In some instances innocent people get caught in a bad place in a wrong time and sadly these people get killed by angry mobs who cant even spare a second to confirm if one is truly a criminal or just an inocent person. In this way justice is not achieved rather another wrong is done for realy what if that inocent man/woman was your relative and was inflicted the painful and macabre killing called mob justice would you be happy?

               Mob beatings

Mob justice only makes a society go back in the stone age when humanity had no laws, for it potrays a nation which has become a failure and cant protect its people, indeed we should let authorities deal with criminals instead of killing them we should apprehend them and take them to the law enforcers as we might end up geting our hands wet with blood of inocent people.

             Stabing to death

The solution to end or reduce mob justice is left for governments and society to increase policemen and form community policing networks to curb insecurity and also an effective legal system should be put in place to give people faith in the justice system.

  1. I have noticed that this justice mostly occurs in African cultures, is this why africans act so violently in the United States? Maybe they need a little of this here?
